Statement of Doctrine
1. There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Duet. 6:4; Matt. 28:19)
2. Jesus Christ is the true God and the true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, the Just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures. He is now at the right of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His kingdom, righteousness, and peace.

3. The Holy Spirit is a divine Person, Counselor and Spirit of Truth, sent to dwell in, guide, teach and empower the believer and convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.

4. The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.
(2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Tim. 3:15-17)
5. Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God on the basis of faith alone.
(Titus 3:4-7; Romans 10:9-10)
6. There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the first, a resurrection unto life; for the second, a resurrection unto judgment.

7. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and physical. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service.

Our Covenant
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been Baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into a covenant with one another, as one body in Christ. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love, to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness and comfort; to promote its spirituality and prosperity; to sustain its worship, sacraments, discipline, and doctrines, to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor and the spreading of the Gospel throughout all nations. We also engage to maintain, as far a s possible, family and secret devotion; to teach our children the Christian truths; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the work; to be just in our dealings faithful in our engagement, exemplary in our actions, and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly and sisterly love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior, to secure it without delay. We moreover engage that when we remove from this place, we will as soon as possible unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
